Version 2.0 will be a multi agent platform with access to a variety of tools including web crawler, semantic search, natural language processing and knowledge base access. Here is a list of some of the features of the bot: Platform: the new version will run inside any osgi compliant platform including eclipse, equinox, knopflerfish, felix, oscar. There is also a standalone version. Protocols: irc, jabber (including google talk), msn, http access. The platform is built around the osgi service oriented framework,  however many of the modules will run without an osgi container. JiMO has its own native platform (under development) based on osgi, that is configurable by the developer allowing unneeded features to be excluded.
